Since 2011 we have been the campaigning as a cross-party group of Parliamentarians to raise the profile of vascular and venous disease. We work with clinicians, patients, Parliamentarians and industry representatives to help improve the lives of those with vascular disease.

Our Mission

The purpose of the Group is:

  1. To raise awareness of vascular and venous disease and to encourage actions to promote a greater priority of their prevention and treatment.

  2. To encourage research into the causes of vascular and venous disease.

  3. To advance excellence and innovation in vascular and venous disease.

  4. To inform parliamentarians of the work of medical professionals, and how they can be helped to provide better services to patients.

In addition to providing a forum for MPs and Peers, the Group also aims to bring clinicians, patients and industry representatives to Westminster to discuss vascular and venous disease and related issues.

This is not an official website of the House of Commons or the House of Lords. It has not been approved by either House or its committees. All-Party Parliamentary Groups are informal groups of Members of both Houses with a common interest in particular issues. The views expressed in these webpages are those of the group.
